Sadler's Sports

The first player to score a 10 twice starts. However, if you land on 3, it’s void. One throw starts are a wild card, but we’ll come to that in a minute. Round one you need a 9, round 2 a 7. Two players are needed to win, but only if you’re behind. One stripe returns their face value, except the coloured stripes (obviously). You always play in sequence unless you match your opponent's score, otherwise you play in an ascending or descending order. If you roll a 4 you must stand up and shout “Sadler’s Sam, Skip Town Sailor.” The winner is the man with the most hoops after 12 rounds. A frame can be divided if one player skips off for a beer, unless the beer is below 4%, naturally.

A month long ambiguous sports installation at Sadler's Yard, Manchester. In collaboration with Joshua Dodds and Vinny Ratcliff. For Oh Ok Ltd.
